Head for the Hills!

Learn about the East Bay Regional Parks and discover new new places to hike around and play this summer at our "Let's Take a Hike" exhibit this summer!

Looking for some adventure close to home this summer?  East Bay Regional Parks offers miles of hiking, diverse wildlife, interesting and informative classes, and many recreational activities.  The “Healthy Parks, Healthy People” campaign is
in full swing, encouraging people to get out and get active in the outdoors.

For a closer look at these parks, come visit the “Let’s Take a Hike” exhibit at
.  Discover the parks through beautiful photos and maps, and also learn about the fascinating local history behind them.  (While you’re
here, stop by the gift shop to browse the selection of trail and nature guides,
as well as other reading perfect for enjoying while lounging under a shady
oak.)

Along with this, Walnut Creek Adventurer Program offers rewards to kids 12 and under for visiting designated open spaces or Lindsay.  By completing the Open Space Adventurer Passport, kids can earn a nifty whistle and lanyard with a certificate!
