Henry The Heron In A Tree!

During the ten years Henry has been visiting our backyard, I have seen him; standing on the patio furniture, perched on-top of the shed and barbecue, resting on the fence and on top of the roof, in the garden, in the ponds and on top of the canopy. But. . .  I have never seen him up in the trees! Until yesterday. After all these years. Why now? Herons do spend lots of time nesting and resting in trees.  Perhaps he is thinking of building his nest here and is checking it out? That would be awesome! Nature continues to amaze. Keep looking in the trees around you. You never know what you might see. Perhaps Henry will pay you a visit too.
