Hiking To Help The Homeless: How You Can Help
Patch Editor David Mills will join hundreds of others in October for a hike on Mount Diablo to raise money for Shelter Inc.
Hundreds of people will venture out onto the trails of Mount Diablo next month to raise money for a non-profit organization that helps the homeless.
The 2013 Take A Hike will happen on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 8 a.m. The proceeds go to Shelter Inc.
Patch Editor David Mills hiked the 5-mile course last year and raised $400. This year, he'll take on the 8-mile trek.
