Lemonade Stand Benefits Wildlife Museum

Noe Valley youngster is raising money for the Lindsay Wildlife Museum; savor a lemonade on Wednesday.

If you're in Noe Valley on Wednesday, go ahead and be a sport. Buy a cup of lemonade. Drain it and then have a second.

A preschooler named Naomi is organizing a lemonade stand with the proceeds to benefit the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek. "Naomi began by mailing adorable, hand-printed appeal letters to her list of 'contacts' and has already raised over $800," said Trisha Clayton, who does public relations work for the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau.

The stand is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the With Care Preschool, 50 Fair Oaks St. between 21st and 22nd streets in Noe Valley, San Francisco. And if you don't believe Kathleen Albert of the With Care Preschool in Noe Valley believes in an early introduction to community service, take a look at this video.
