Murwood Elementary PTA to auction off 'VIP parking pass' in fund-raising gala.
Everybody complains about parking, but nobody does anything about it.
Except for the Murwood Elementary School Parent Teacher Association, that is. In a creative gambit in the spring round of fund-raising for schools, that PTA at its gala Saturday is auctioning off a "VIP parking pass" that lets you drive around Walnut Creek and park without paying. The pass comes from Regional Parking Inc., which runs many parking lots in the Creek.
