Rink Opens, Hundreds Attend Free Skating Period
Walnut Creek On Ice holds a special two-hour, free skate session Tuesday evening.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek, Walnut Creek On Ice is an annual tradition that runs through Jan. 16, 2012.
because of an equipment issue at Civic Park. As a thank you to the patient public, Walnut Creek on Ice offered free skating from 5 to 7 p.m., which drew about 350 skaters, reported Walnut Creek on Ice representative Angela De La Housaye.
