WCPD: Spirit of Giving For Toys For Tots

Barrel for gift donations is in front of the police station on the first floor of City Hall, 1666 N. Main St.

The barrel is ready in front of the police station in City Hall, waiting for new and unwrapped gifts.

For its 11th year, the Walnut Creek Police Department is conducting a Toys for Tots drive through Thursday, Dec. 15, with donations passed on to the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program in Concord and distributed to needy families in Walnut Creek.

"We've had more calls from people going through a rough time," said Officer David Rangel.
