Walnut Creek Death Notices

Some of the people with ties to Walnut Creek who have passed away recently

Patricia Dulmage, a longtime resident of Walnut Creek, was a graduate of U.C. Davis and San Francisco State.  She was a medical technician for many years. Dulmage died on Oct. 1 at the age of 53.

Vida LeSage, a resident of Walnut Creek, was born in Louisiana. She worked for the USO during World War II before marrying and moving to the East Bay. She volunteered with many community organizations. LeSage died on Sept. 25 at the age of 90.

Mary Ann Thomason, a longtime resident of Rossmoor, was born in Minnesota and grew up in Southern California and Oakland. She taught in Oakland and Berkeley. After she and her husband moved to Lafayette, Thomason became a partner in the Brown Avenue Antique Collective. Thomason died on Sept. 27 at the age of 94.

Brunhilde Anita Hengesbach, 
a resident of Walnut Creek, was born in Germany. Her family moved to California in 1961. She lived in Marin County for 40 years before moving to Walnut Creek to be closer to her family. Hengesbach died on Sept. 26 at the age of 79.

Ralph F. Baird,
 a resident of Walnut Creek, was born in Oakland. Family and friends will remember him at a funeral Mass on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Christ The King Church in Pleasant Hill. Baird died on Sept. 27 at the age of 66.
