Walnut Creek Death Notices

Some of the people with ties to Walnut Creek who passed away recently

Mark A. Blaubach, a resident of Walnut Creek, will be remembered by family and friends at a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel in Walnut Creek. Blaubach died on Aug. 22 at the age of 50.

Carmen V. Lilley Cruz, a resident of Walnut Creek, will be remembered by family and friends at a memorial service at noon on Thursday, Oct. 3, at Holy Angels Chapel in Hayward. Cruz died on Sept. 21 at the age of 77.

William Hall Jr., a resident of Walnut Creek, was born in Michigan and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He co-owned and operated Towne Supply and was a mentor for the Score Program. Hall died on Aug. 30 at the age of 90.

Beverly Joann Parker, a resident of Walnut Creek for more than 40 years, was born in Kansas. She worked as a medical assistant at the Rossmoor Clinic. She was also active in the PTA, the Contra Costa Quilters Guild, bridge clubs and community organizations. Parker died on Sept. 24 at the age of 78.

Mary Saylor, a resident of Walnut Creek, was born in Oakland and graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1940. She was a teacher in the San Leandro Unified School District for 23 years. She was also active in Rainbow Girls and Eastern Star. Saylor died on Sept. 21 at the age of 94.
