Police have arrested three suspects who allegedly robbed a Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center employee at knifepoint in a hospital parking garage a week ago.

The robbery occurred around 11:35 p.m. last Wednesday in the parking garage at 1425 S. Main St., when three suspects approached and robbed the man before fleeing in a silver SUV, according to police.

One of the suspects was armed with a knife, police said. Police said on Monday, officers served a search warrant at a home in Concord, where they located a 17-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old Concord woman identified as Shaina Mae Day.

Investigators were able to track down the suspects after reviewing footage from a burglary at a neighborhood market in Concord that occurred the morning after the parking garage robbery, Walnut Creek police Lt. Steve Gorski said. At least one of the male suspects was involved in that burglary, and made off with lottery tickets and other items, Gorski said.

All three suspects were arrested on suspicion of robbery. Day was taken to county jail and the two teens went to Juvenile Hall in Martinez.
