After Prostitution Arrest, Police Close Massage Parlor

Oakland woman arrested at Gold Tub parlor on Mount Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette.

A series of prostitution arrests at Lafayette massage parlors continued into 2013 with an arrest Friday afternoon.

At the Gold Tub establishment at 3486 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Xiu Bo Wang, 25, of Oakland, was arrested on a charge of solicitation to engage in prostitution. She was issued a citation and released, according to a press release by Lafayette police spokesman Jimmy Lee.

Gold Tub's certificate to operate in Lafayette was revoked; Lee said officers found "numerous violations" of the city's massage establishment law. Lafayette last fall began implementing a new set of regulations on massage parlors, encouraging legitimate outlets and setting rules to weed out faux parlors that are covers for prostitution.

The arrest was the result of a joint undercover operation by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office and the Lafayette Police Department.

Anyone with information about illegal activity at other massage establishments is asked to call Lafayette police at (925) 283-3680.

I hate to say it, but not all the men are unattractive in appereance or personalities. They come in all kinds.I know for sure that some very sucessfull doctors have been known to take a break for a lovely massage. I know two husbands that have also been caught visiting a place as such. Great family & wife......... crazy.

Hmm maybe not so great wife. Hey, if women can spend $80 on their hair and get a spa pedicure, then what can men get for $80?
