Amber Alert: Boy, 16, Kidnapped in Antioch

An armed man abducted teen at Antioch barber shop Monday afternoon.

 Police in Antioch have issued an amber alert after a 16-year-old boy was kidnapped from a barber shop in that city by a man described as 25 years old, driving a black 1996 GMC Yukon.

Police said the black SUV has the California license plate number 4WAY944.

The suspect was wielding a sawed-off shotgun, the Contra Costa Times reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds. He allegedly abducted a boy described as 5-foot-4 and 110 pounds.

The victim was last seen wearing a red Cincinnati Reds baseball cap and a red jacket. Police believe he is Hasaan Ameer Ford, an employee at Al's Barber Shop.

Police say the suspect robbed Al's Barber Shop located at 11 West 18th St., at gunpoint, taking the owner's wallet, keys and car, which is the car he is believed to be driving now.

The suspect kidnapped the 16-year-old barber shop employee as he was escaping. 

The suspect was wearing a blue shirt, baggy pants and a knitted cap.
