Donate to I-680 Officer's Family at Bank

Mechanics Bank is accepting donations for the family of CHP Officer Kenyon Youngstrom, who died from an exchange of gunfire on I-680 in Alamo Tuesday.

Mechanics Bank has opened an account for the benefit of CHP Officer Kenyon Youngstrom, who died after an exchange of gunfire with a suspect in a routine traffic stop Tuesday on Interstate 680 in Alamo.

People can contribute at any Mechanics Bank branch office, via mail or through a wire transfer, according to a Mechanics Bank news release.


By mail, people can send to Mechanics Bank, 1350 N. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA 94596.

By wire transfer, the Mechanics Bank routing number is 121102036, "For Officer Kenyon Youngstrom."

Checks should be made payable to: For Benefit of Officer Kenyon Youngstrom.

Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
