Creek Diva: Computer & Razor Blade Thieves + An Honest Cabbie

Walnut Creek police reports May 30 and May 31.

Wednesday, May 30

Claw hammer threat. A process server was allegedly threatened by a man with a claw hammer on the 1100 block of Bancroft Road at 9:28 a.m.

Honest cabbie. A cab driver turned over a wallet that he found in his vehicle from the night before. If you’ve lost one recently, please contact the police.

Car tagging. Three cars were spray painted on the 1300 block of Alma Avenue overnight.

Thursday, May 31

Fire extinguisher vandalism. A church on the 2400 Buena Vista Avenue was vandalized. An unknown suspect sprayed a fire extinguisher all over the first and second floors.

iPad stolen. An iPad was stolen out of a parked car on the 1400 block of N. Main Street between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The iPad was in a distinct navy blue case.

Display phones. Two men stole two iPhone display models from a store on the 2900 block of North Main Street at 11:58 a.m. They fled on foot to a white Mitsubishi Galant.

Prostitution on Pisgah? A caller phoned police about witnessing “suspicious activity in the neighborhood over the past couple of weeks.” Police advised the caller to phone back when they see the alleged prostitution happening again.

Burglary. A home on the 2400 block of Overlook Drive was burglarized via a broken window. Jewelry, computer, credit cards, and a Gucci purse were reported stolen.

Kickball party! A caller was concerned about a large group of people drinking beer and listening to “loud music” at Rudgear Park at 7:55 p.m. The kickball group 4-Sheets legally obtained a permit for the occasion.

Many razor blades. A white male aged 20-25 years stole $150 worth of razor blades at the CVS on Tice Valley Boulevard at 9:12 p.m.
