Creek Diva: Fight Night, Fight Over a Bible and A Rambling Call to 9-1-1

Sunday, October 2

Fight night. A person transported to the hospital after receiving “facial injuries” in an assault outside Residual Sugar on Locust Street at 12:34 a.m.

Ladies, that’s disgusting. Two women were cited for urinating in public on the 1300 block of Locust Street at 1 a.m.

You can run but you can’t hide! A man took off running after he allegedly knocked another man out on Olympic and South Main Street at 1:56 a.m.

House fire. A home on Meander Court caught fire near an a/c compressor at 6:09 a.m. A fire district investigation is under way.

Monday, October 3

Several cars broken into overnight. An unlocked Honda Accord parked on 100 Rock Oak Court was burglarized; cash and two GPS devices were stolen. A few cars parked on Perada Drive were also broken into. Lock your cars and take your valuables with you.

Missing car. A white Honda Civic 4-door, license plate 3DHA648, was stolen from a guest parking space on the 1800 block of Pomar Way overnight.

Thou shall not hit. A father allegedly got into a fight with his son over “ownership of a Bible” at 10:35 a.m. on Maggie Lane.

Tuesday, October 4

Hang up and go to bed! A woman called 9-1-1 at 3:26 a.m. claiming “her family founded Bank of America and owns half of Mount Diablo.” The caller also informed the dispatcher that she’s had “two stomach surgeries due to people throwing arsenic powder on her.”  The caller phoned police again five hours later rambling on and on.

Since when is this proper business attire? A woman phoned police after seeing a “heavyset man wearing a SF Giants shirt and jean cargo pants” walking in front of her home on Clover Lane at 10:31 a.m. She requested a business card from the man, who refused and left the property.

Stranger danger. A student at Buena Vista Elementary was approached by a Parents, this is a good reminder to speak to your kids about stranger danger.
