Creek Diva: Grinch, Bad Roommate, Exposure

The Diva is making a list and checking it twice, so straighten up and fly right, Walnut Creek.

Wednesday, December 5

An early Grinch sighting was reported on the 1700 block of Carmel Drive at 12:34 a.m. The caller reported seeing a man “looking in windows, knocking on doors, and allegedly pulling the fire alarm”. The Grinch was not located when police arrived on the scene.

Naughty Northgate. A student was arrested on assault charges after another student allegedly was hit in the back of the head.

Roommate drama. A man on Creekside Drive phoned police to get help in removing his roommate that moved in five days before. Police gave advice to the man. Next time, do an extensive background check.

Sassin’ near Sasa. Two employees were involved with a loud verbal dispute in the parking lot south of Sasa at 12:56a.m. The argument was settled and no police assistance was needed.

Aggressive solicitor. A woman “pounded” on the door of a home on Snyder Lane this afternoon and asked if “anyone was home”. The solicitor did not show her permit and went on her way.

Friday, December 7

Ew. A white male around 18 years of age wearing a green hoodie and jeans allegedly exposed himself on the canal trail towards Heather Farm Park at 10:21a.m. The information was passed along to the Regional Parks Police.

A vehicle smashed into a fire hydrant on Belford Drive this evening. The driver was transported to the hospital with injuries and later was arrested on DUI charges.
