Walnut Creek police reports from March 31 to April 3.

Saturday, March 31

Downtown call of nature. Before you pay the bill, use the bathroom! Two men were cited on public urination charges after leaving Mr. Lucky’s on Locust Street at 1:46 a.m.

Beer bottles. Broken beer bottles were reported littered on Rudgear Road and Durant Court early this morning. The Corp Yard responded and cleaned up the slivery mess. 

Two computers. An iPad and MacBook Pro laptop were stolen from a car parked on the 2700 block of North Main Street. Do NOT leave your valuables in your car.

Alcohol. A minor was cited for being in possession of alcohol on Arbolado Drive near Manzano Drive at 11:35a.m. A nearby neighbor thought the driver of the white  SUV was acting suspicious.

Sunday, April 1

A Creek Diva first. Someone found $50 in the jail downtown!

Pay as you go. A limo driver and his customers had a dispute about damages on the 100 block of Sharene Lane at 3 a.m. The police gave advice to the driver about Small Claims Court.

Baby implicated? A couple and their newborn baby were seen allegedly stealing an employees iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy tablet computer at a business on the 1200 block of Olympic Blvd at 10:57 a.m.

Flood vandals. A brand new home on Meander Court was vandalized overnight. The caller had the belief that “someone intentionally unscrewed the toilet valve that flooded the entire brand new home.” An investigation is underway.

Smashed window. A beauty salon at Palos Verdes Mall was burglarized via a smashed front window. Speakers, phones, television, and cash were reported stolen.

Monday, April 2

Underwear. Women’s undergarments were found on the bike trail near Perada Drive this morning. The items were disposed of.

'Drive nicer.' A produce delivery driver was warned to “drive nicer in Walnut Creek” after he was seen driving recklessly on Homestead Drive.

Duck crossing. Careful this time of year around town — a few ducks and ducklings nearly caused an accident while crossing on Ygnacio Valley Road.

Tuesday, April 3

Razor blades. Four subjects stole $450 worth of locked razor blades at Walgreens on North Main Street. One of the men had a device or key to gain access to the pricey razors.

Get off the roof! What is the fascination with kids hanging out on school roofs? Several teens were warned after a neighbor witnessed them on the roof on Walnut Creek Intermediate at 2:00 p.m.

Pushy scam artist. A Dover Court resident received five phone calls from a man with an accent claiming to be federal agent and demanding to wire transfer. The caller was given advice about scams.

Natural death. A food service deliveryman phoned police after seeing a man on his porch on Pomar Way since Sunday. Unfortunately the man had passed way due to natural causes.
