Wednesday, October 12
Not again! The Number 1 ball field at Heather Farm was vandalized overnight. It appeared that someone tried to get copper wire from a vault, but did not succeed. Please don't wreck the ball fields — the place where stardom is achieved regularly by Creek Diva’s Number 1 softball team, The Swingers.
Ford burglary. A silver Ford Escape was burglarized overnight and a brown briefcase was stolen on the 1600 block of North California Boulevard.
Kudos. To the kind citizen who found a lost wallet near Stratton Circle today. The police have it for safekeeping.
Thursday, October 13
Spike. Creek Diva has noticed a spike in fraud arrests at the Chase Bank on Bancroft Road. Another arrested occurred at 9:20 a.m.
Switch to decaf. A customer at a business on the 1300 block of North Main allegedly threw a cup of coffee in the store after “asking a lot of questions about an employee” at 5:27 p.m.
Yikes. A homeowner on Bellamy Court was home when an unknown subject entered the home at 10:29 p.m. The suspect ran away.
Friday, October 14
Stolen 'pony.' A black Ford Mustang LX, license place 6GUL993, was reported stolen from a parking spot on the 100 block of Lennon Lane at 10:09 a.m.
Exposure. A 14-year-old male student allegedly exposed himself to “several other students during PE” this morning. The kid was suspended from school.
Hope you enjoyed your meal. A man was arrested on charges of public intoxication after he bailed on his $55 dinner tab on Bonanza Street at 10:08 p.m.
