Creek Diva: Radical Cartwheel, Hot iMacs Somewhere and Bob Marley Lookalikes

Walnut Creek police reports from Sept. 5 to Sept. 7

Monday, September 5

School computers. . Nothing was taken and it appeared to be a “dry run” break-in. Tuesday Sept. 6, a custodian at Indian Valley notified police that six brand new iMacs were stolen. Three iMacs were reported stolen also on Tuesday morning, from Valle Verde.

Home burglaries. Homes on Camino Verde and Northcreek Circle were broken into. Flat screen TV, Xbox, coins and school supplies were reported stolen.

False alarm. A caller phoned police about seeing “two black males, early twenties, Bob Marley appearance” who were allegedly smoking pot at a Arbolado Park at 4:10 p.m. Just to let you know, caller, they didn’t have anything illegal on them, police reported.

Go team go! An overly concerned neighbor on El Divisadero Avenue reportedly told "five soccer players" they were trespassing at 2 p.m. Technically, that was the school football team setting up for practice.

Helping hand. Kudos to the citizen who helped an elderly man back home to Rossmoor this afternoon on Tice Valley Boulevard. Well done!

Tuesday, September 6

Stolen Honda. A 1998 green Honda Civic, license plate 5JLT862, was reported stolen overnight from a parking spot on the 2600 block of Oak Road.

A friendly reminder. The WCPD non-emergency number is 925-942-5844. Write it down, enter it into a cell phone. Remember: 911 calls on a cell phone go to the CHP, not the WCPD.

The Russian judge scored you 2! A caller was concerned for a female who was “kicked in the head by a male subject that was doing a cartwheel on the street.” Apparently it was just an accident, at 9:51 p.m. on Locust Street.

Wednesday, September 7

There's a connection. A cabbie reported seeing a male in a “green 4-wheel motorized utility vehicle” driving around without lights at 2:03 a.m. near Heather Farm Park. Six hours later a report came in about a utility cart that went missing at Diablo Hills golf course.

No laughing matter. Alexander Pinto was arrested on charges of possession of child pornography after a search warrant was made to a residence on the 2700 block of Oak Road at 10:51 a.m.

Daytime burglary. An apartment on 1900 block of Trinity Avenue was broken into sometime during the day. An unsecured window was the point of entry for the burglar, who stole jewelry, computer and other items.

Diva in action. Creek Diva phoned police after she was tired of seeing all the illegal parking on her street. Thank you to the WCPD for citing the pesky Jeep owner and a few others on Creekside Drive.
