Creek Diva: Return of Bra Bandit & Vice Ultra Fight

Walnut Creek police reports from July 25 to July 28 also includes vandalism to a car using mustard, peanut butter and toilet paper.

Wednesday, July 25

Stolen car, loaded firearm., according to reports by the Walnut Creek Police Department.

Storage lockers rifled. Several storage lockers were broken into overnight on the 1900 block of Oak Grove Road. The lockers were pried open and locks were removed. The apartment managers notified the victims.

Bra bandit is back. An unknown subject stole $2,500 worth of bras at Victoria’s Secret at 1:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 26

Shed broken into. California Garden Condos on Cole Avenue reported a burglary to a storage shed at 10:08 a.m. A bicycle was stolen.

Motorcycle spills. A motorcyclist was injured on Mount Diablo Boulevard near Ace Hardware at 11:25 a.m. Several callers witnessed that a driver of a dark green car pulled out in front of the motorcyclist.

Syringes found. Two syringes were properly disposed of after a caller found them in the parking lot behind Prima on North Main Street.

Friday, July 27

Last week it was maple syrup. This week, a car that was parked on the 2600 block of Via Verde was covered in mustard, peanut butter and toilet paper. “Las Lomas” was written on the hood of the car.

Gas bandit. Several residents on Leisure Lane reported missing gas out of their vehicles overnight.

High-end sunglasses. A sunglass store requested prosecution against a female who allegedly was caught on video surveillance putting two pairs of sunglasses in her bag without paying. The sunglasses were worth more than $1,000.

Heads up! Going to Heather Farm Park soon? Please don’t leave your valuables in your vehicles. Several reports of wallets, purses, and other personal items have been stolen out of cars parked around the park lately.

Saturday, July 28

Melee. The WCPD responded to Vice Ultra Lounge on Arroyo Way at closing time due to “yet another large fight” where “several Officers were punched (no injuries) and had to use batons to restore order, according to the Walnut Creek Police Association Facebook page. One subject was arrested for disturbing the peace.

Another fight. Around the same time as the Arroyo Way incident, a group of people were seen fighting near Crogan’s. They separated and were sent home in cabs.
