Wednesday, March 28

Unwanted houseguest! A man woke up to find a stranger in his apartment on the 100 block of Near Court at  4a.m. The stranger thought he was in his aunt’s apartment but really he entered the wrong balcony. Lock those back doors and sliding doors, folks.

Coin job. Parking meters were vandalized for coins on Pringle Avenue and Rivera Avenue overnight.

Dumpster diver. A caller reported that a man driving a dark blue Honda Accord was going through a dumpster and recycling cans on Near Court. The man left by the time police arrived. Readers, what’s your take on dumpster divers?

Burglary. A woman was arrested on felony burglary charges after her car broke down on Treat and Bancroft Road at 2:47 p.m. The case was forwarded to the Antioch PD for an investigation.

Thursday, March 29

Get your pants on, Mister! A white male in his mid fifties was seen near Whole Foods Market and Las Lomas at 8 a.m., with no pants on. Police could not locate the man upon arrival.

Scary. A man reported that his adult daughter has been possibly abducted and forced into prostitution. An investigation is under way.

To the Mini-Cooper driver. You were seen driving recklessly and slamming on the brakes on Ygnacio Valley Road and Oak Grove at 11:47 a.m. Knock it off!

Grab ‘n’ run. Three men tried on $2,700 worth of clothes at a business at Broadway Plaza and placed the items on hold. They returned at 8 p.m. only to grab the items and flee on foot. The men were not located.

Friday, March 30

Vandalism. An AT&T box was once again vandalized in town. Various phone and data wires were cut at Citrus Circle overnight.

Drinking. Two homeless men were cited for drinking in public near Trader Joe’s on South California Boulevard at 1:38 p.m. Creek Diva recently noticed a new metal fence near the creek that is suppose to help prohibit urban camping.

Smoking dope. Five juveniles were cited for smoking marijuana on Layman Court and Rudgear Drive at 3:54 p.m.
