Walnut Creek police reports from Dec. 10 to Dec. 12

Saturday, December 10

Cycling thief. for allegedly breaking into some cars on the 500 block of Matisse Court at 3:00 a.m.

Stinky! A caller reported that a sewer was overflowing for the second time on the 1600 block of Sunnyvale Avenue. A maintenance worker responded to the problem at 3:05 p.m.

Bad credit. A woman was arrested for allegedly using a fraudulent credit card at Broadway Plaza at 6:01 p.m.

Seasonal naughtiness. Two men dressed up in a Santa suit and Elf costume were seen “throwing bottles and glasses” at parked cars on N. Civic and Main at 8:38p.m. Santa and Elf admitted “horsing around” and were advised against it.

Sunday, December 11

Noisy. Redux nightclub on Locust Street was warned about excessive noise at 12:35 a.m.

Heads up, Carmel Drive residents. Several reports of car break-ins have occurred on your street. Lock your cars and take your valuables with you.

Turkey vs. car. A driver of a Honda Civic accidentally hit a turkey on Rudgear Road at 3:27p.m. No word if the turkey sustained any injuries, but the car suffered from a broken window.

Trail tag. A juvenile was arrested for allegedly tagging on the Iron Horse Trail near Vic Stewart's on Newell and South Broadway at 9:20 p.m. He was released to his father from the WCPD jail.

Monday, December 12

Reckless. Creek Diva has noticed an increase in 911 calls related to reckless driving. Readers, what do you do when you see one?

House burglary. A housekeeper arrived at a residence on the 3400 block of Perada Drive at 2:32p.m. and noticed a broken window. The front door was open and a laptop and jewelry were stolen.

Church burglary. An unknown subject stole a Kindle Fire from an unlocked church on 2200 block of Ygnacio Valley Road.

Naughty list for adults. Several customers complained about a couple having “intimate relations” in a blue Ford Focus with dealer plates on the second floor of parking garage on the 1600 block of Locust Street.
