Wednesday, December 21

Bar fight. A fight broke out at Crogan's at 12:50 a.m. The staff was unable to say who was involved and luckily no one was injured.

Stolen bike. A black Schwinn men’s mountain bike was stolen from a bike rack near an apartment leasing office on the 1700 block of Carmel Lane.

IPod sleuthing. A man phoned police after seeing his stolen IPod listed for sale on Craigslist. Readers, although it would be tempting to seek revenge in this case, the caller did the right thing by calling the police for help. Creek Diva helped her neighbor a few years ago recover a stolen iPod, but with the Sheriff’s Office help!

Thursday, December 22

Porch diving. A white female wearing a navy blue pea coat driving a white SUV was seen stealing two packages off a porch on 100 block of Arlene Drive at 8:08 a.m.

Jewelry stolen. Some $4,100 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home 1900 block of First Avenue. The homeowner’s daughter had house guests that possibly were connected to the theft.

Heist of expensive jewelry. A home on the 2100 block of Oakvale Road was burglarized and $20,000 worth of jewelry was taken via an unlocked second story bedroom window.

Friday, December 23

Slip and fall. A woman slipped on an icy sidewalk on the 300 block of San Carlos Drive at 9:37 a.m. She was transported to the hospital. Creek Diva hopes you are feeling better!

Package stolen. A UPS package containing a Toshiba notebook valued at $900 was stolen from a porch on the 2600 block of Saklan Indian Drive.

Theft from auto. A checkbook and a box of toilet paper were stolen from a red Ford Explorer on Locust and Civic Drive.

Saturday, December 24

Ornament vandals. Broadway Plaza security detained some juveniles who allegedly damaged some ornaments by the large Christmas tree.

Stolen bike. A black and grey PK Ripper bicycle was stolen from PF Chang's between noon and 4 p.m. Another bike, a Phatcycle beach cruiser with a broken bell was stolen from behind a building on the 1500 block of Bonanza Street. Hope your bikes are returned.

Monday, December 25

House humbugged. A home on the 1600 block of Sunnyvale Avenue was broken into in the middle of the night via rear sliding door. An iPhone, iPad and cash were stolen.
