Police impersonation. A caller reported that a laptop was stolen out of a locker room at Northgate on April 4. An unknown caller posing as a police officer requested the password on the 10th. The catch — the victim had not reported the theft to police yet! An investigation is underway.

Solicitors. The WCPD was busy warning solicitors all over town, from Lakewood, Homewood and Norlyn Drive. Perhaps passing more stringent laws about soliciting will free up calls related to this ongoing issue. What do you think, readers?
