Flight to China Apparently Trumps Contra Costa Charges

A woman, formerly of Danville, who was charged with vehicular manslaughter in the 2009 death of Walnut Creek cyclist John Greaves, has fled to China apparently to escape prosecution.

Authorities believe defendant Hong Guo turned in an expired passport to Contra Costa County Court, and then used a valid passport to go to China in May, according to a story in the Contra Costa Times.
