Man Accosted Woman Walking on Oak Road

Sexual battery took place at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday as woman was walking on the road.

The Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff is investigating a sexual battery that occurred about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on Oak Road, north of Treat Boulevard, in unincorporated Walnut Creek.
 
From the sheriff's office press release:

A 25-year-old woman was walking on Oak Road when she suddenly felt someone grab her. The woman turned around and saw that it was a man who had been following her. The suspect released his grasp of the woman and fled. The Office of the Sheriff and several other law enforcement agencies conducted a search for the suspect but were not able to locate him.
 
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, 5'10", 200 pounds and unshaven. He was wearing black slacks, a black dress shirt and red colored tie.
