Jacob Kober was arrested in Springfield, Ore., located just outside of Eugene. He is currently in custody at the Lake County Sheriff's Department awaiting extradition and will be brought to San Rita Jail.

Livermore police believe Kober fled to Oregon after the Dec. 29 shooting. Kober, a Livermore resident, and Ogden were acquaintances, according to Officer Traci Rebiejo.

Livermore police, citing an ongoing investigation, did not release what they believe was the motive for the killing.

Kober was a 2006 graduate of Granada High School, according to his Facebook page.

In June, Kober and two other were arrested in Danville on suspicion of burglary. Kober was charged with a probation violation, grand theft and possession of stolen property. He was also arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for burglary.

Ogden, 28, was found dead at the Springtown Golf Course by a jogger on the morning of Dec. 29. He had been shot multiple times.

Maurice, it is obvious that you don't know what you are talking about. But it must be hard for you to think clearly with the drawstring on your hefty bag being too tight around your neck and all. Unless you were there, and know what happened, keep your judgmental comments to your self. "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone" Jesus Christ

Virtual communication, Really....is this what this looks like? Sounds more like self glorified nonsense. If people choose to just exist at the expense or harm to society rather than take responsibilty for this thing callled Life then they have truly contaminated their purpose and therefore do not deserve this conversation. However, positive power is prideful, it supports, respectfuly informs and heals. Be kind to one another. There is a whole big world out there.......and no it's not the www. It is through our personal interactions we as people have developed and learned to coexist in a civilized. There is big ole world out there, JOIN IT! Log off and Log into Life......oh, and if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all~♥~ Peace, Love & Water~~~ ChristeL Shout out to Springtown 5503 Idlewild Avenue~Native GirL~

Please explain what you mean by lots of people? Because the last time I checked, Somebody told somebody who told somebody and nobody knows who the first somebody was. So the only one certain about who did this was the late Mr. Ogden. Since you can't ask him who did it. Then maybe you can stop helping destroy a young mans life who did not do it.
