Police Arrest Two Men for Stolen Car and Property

A firearm, stolen property and narcotics were found in the men's possession, according to Walnut Creek Police.

Two men face felony charges after getting caught by police in a stolen car behind Prima Ristorante Saturday afternoon.

A firearm and "a large amount" of property that traces back to a recent residential burglary were found in the car, which Walnut Creek police say was reported stolen from Antioch.

Matthew Danska, 22, of Walnut Creek and 27-year-old Christopher Mair, of Pacheco were spotted by an off-duty WCPD officer who called dispatch at 3:45 p.m. to check on a suspicious vehicle parked behind the 1522 North Main restaurant.

The two are charged with "being felons in possession of a firearm, violating their probation, possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics and vehicle theft," according to police.

They were booked into Martinez County Jail.
