Police Association Endorses 3 Candidates

Local union for officers announces Walnut Creek City Council endorsement of Barry Grove, Kish Rajan and Bob Simmons on Facebook page.

The Walnut Creek Police Association has endorsed Deputy District Attorney Barry Grove and incumbents Kish Rajan and Bob Simmons for election to the City Council Nov. 6.

"After speaking with each of the candidates we feel all three share our vision of a safe community, fiscal responsibility, and responsible growth," the local union for police stated on its Facebook page. "The WCPA also met with candidates Justin Wedel and Loella Haskew. We respect their desire to serve this community but feel the three candidates we are endorsing have the right qualifications to best confront the challenges we face in Walnut Creek."

The five candidates are competing for three seats on the council.
