Robber Runs Off with 7 Eleven Cash

He displayed handgun in 3 a.m. Wednesday robbery of North Main Street convenience store.

Walnut Creek police are investigating the robbery of a North Main Street 7 Eleven store by a bandanaed man with a handgun at 3 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspect was last seen running through the parking lot of the 7 Eleven at 2525 N. Main Street, at the corner of San Luis Road near the exit and entrance to Highway 680, according to a Walnut Creek Police Department alert. He had stolen cash from the clerk.

The robber was described as a light-skinner male adult, 18 to 22 years old, think build, 5-foot 7 to 5-foot-10, police reported. He was wearing a gray beanie, gray jacket and had a dark bandana covering his face.
