Service Thursday for CHP Officer Youngstrom

Memorial service scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at The Mission Church, Vacaville; Officer Kenyon Youngstrom died after an exchange of gunfire during a routine traffic stop last week in Alamo.

A memorial service for slain CHP Officer Kenyon Youngstrom has been scheduled for Thursday in Vacaville.

The service is slated for 10 a.m. Thursday at The Mission Church, 6391 Leisure Town Road, with a reception to follow in The Mission gymnasium, according to the Vacaville Reporter.

The driver who pulled the gun, Christopher Boone Lacy of Corning, was shot and killed by another CHP officer, who has not been identified.

Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
