Shots Fired On Third Avenue in Walnut Creek Saturday Afternoon

Bullets struck two homes, but no one was injured.

A man police describe as a middle-aged white male in a white sedan fired several shots on the 1700 block of Third Avenue around 4:30 Saturday afternoon. The bullets hit two homes. 

Police say that it doesn't appear the shots were fired at a particular target. 

Witnesses told police the white sedan, which was described as similar to a Toyota Camry, was westbound on the 1700 block of Third Avenue Saturday at 4:33 p.m. when the driver fired several rounds through the car's window. 

The driver had blond hair, t-shirt and was wearing sunglasses. 

No one was injured in the incident.
