Two Concord Teens Arrested in Berean High School Break-in
Police had to stun one of the suspects, from Concord, with a Taser.
Police spotted two boys in the office of Berean Christian High School Saturday night and arrested them after a short foot chase.
After one of the boys, a 17-year-old from Concord, resisted arrest, officers had to subdue him with a Taser, said Sgt. Steve Gorski. The boy was checked at a local hospital and found to have no injuries. He and his suspected accomplice, 15 and also of Concord, were both arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked into Juvenile Hall.
Walnut Creek police dispatchers received a call at about 9:30 p.m. that a burglary alarm had gone off at Berean Christian High School on El Divisadero Avenue, Gorski said. The school is located east of the Ygnacio Plaza shopping center. Officers arrived a few minutes later and saw some people inside the school office with flashlights.
