Two Suspects At Large After Robbing Woman in Front of Walnut Creek Bar

The incident was reported Friday night at Corners Tavern at Broadway Plaza and South Main Street.

Police in Walnut Creek are investigating an armed robbery that occurred just outside a bar Friday night.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just happened in front of the Corners Tavern located at 1342 Broadway Plaza at about 11:15 p.m., police said.

Investigators learned that a suspect used a handgun to rob a female of her iPhone and purse, according to police.

Police said the suspect then fled in a red colored Honda hatchback car, possibly a Civic, which was being driven by an unknown suspect.

The suspects were not found. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect who robbed the female is described as a dark complexion man in his early 20s, about 6 feet 1 inches tall with a medium build. The other suspect was not seen.
