US Bank Robbed in Pleasant Hill Sunday

A man in his forties with a large build and sunglasses told a teller he was armed.

A downtown Pleasant Hill bank was robbed Sunday (May 13) afternoon by a man who claimed he was armed.

According to a release from the Pleasant Hill Police Department, a man described as a white male in his forties with black hair, a large build and wearing sunglasses, walked into the US Bank branch in the Lucky’s Supermarket on Crescent Dr. He told the teller he was armed, though no weapon was seen.

Police say the teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and he left the scene. No one was injured in the robbery.
