Walnut Creek Police Arrest Three Suspects For Car Theft, Burglary
The arrests were made after a traffic stop early Monday morning

A traffic stop led to the arrests of three car theft and burglary suspects in Walnut Creek early Monday morning.
Police said around 2 a.m., officers stopped a car for a hazardous traffic violation. Officers discovered that the license plates on the car belonged to another vehicle and further investigation revealed that the car had recently been stolen from Concord, according to police.
Police said the three occupants were also found with burglary tools, methamphetamine, and items reported stolen from a home in Clayton two days earlier.
All three were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property and narcotics and were taken to County Jail in Martinez.
