Walnut Creek Man Arrested in Ore. Meth Bust

Juan Jacobo-Lopez, 29, of Concord, and Adalid Ortiz-Juarez, 24, of Walnut Creek, were arrested in Oregon by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team last Thursday.

Walnut Creek resident Adalid Ortiz-Juarez, 24, and Concord resident Juan Jacobo-Lopen, 29, were arrested last Thursday in Madras, Ore., about two and a half hours southeast of Portland, after drug enforcement officials seized $16,000 worth of methamphetamine from their car.

The drug bust conducted by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team also found $14,500 in cash, believed to be from earlier drug deals, KTVZ.com has reported.

KTVZ.com reports that the two remain in custody as suspected illegal immigrants.

Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
