Walnut Creek Police Arrest Woman in Fake Disneyland Pass Scam

Victims were in Walnut Creek, San Ramon and Pleasanton. There may be others throughout the East Bay and in the Sacramento area.

Walnut Creek police arrested a  Pleasant Hill woman Saturday on suspicion of fraudulently selling Disneyland passes on Craigslist.

Police say Lisa Marie Cassinelli, 51, arranged to meet victims in person and sell them the passes at a discounted rate. She always was accompanied by a girl she said was her daughter, police said.

Victims usually paid several hundred dollars for the passes and only discovered they were fraudulent when they tried to use them at Disneyland.
