'We all need a better Congress' — and other Christmas themes sung by Occupy Walnut Creekers downtown.
The 99 Percent Minstrel Singers were harmonizing to some altered Christmas carols Wednesday evening.
It was part of Occupy Walnut Creek's ongoing series of protests against the influence of corporate money in the body politic. The venue is the heart of the city's shopping district at Main Street and Mount Diablo Boulevard.

It was a small turnout, numbering 18 at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
