City officials are asking residents to help them shape the future of housing in Walnut Creek.
A community workshop on Walnut Creek’s current and future housing needs will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at City Hall, 1666 N. Main Street.
The city is updating its Housing Element for 2015-2022 with the goal of supporting a diversity of housing types, densities, and prices to meet the needs of current and future residents of all income levels and ages.
In addition to the workshop, the public can provide input on Walnut Creek’s housing needs through December by logging onto the City’s Open Town Hall page at www.walnut-creek.org/opentownhall.
