Occupy Walnut Creek Group Cries For Car Honks

'Honk for the 99 percent!'

Gordon Miller was looking for repetitive support honks from passing motorists on North Main Street Wednesday evening.

"Honk for the middle class!" exhorted the Occupy protester from Walnut Creek.

"Honk if you're filthy rich!"

"Honk for the 99 percent!"

He got some honks. .

Without people willing to commit nonviolent civil disobedience, demonstrations like this are a joke (I've been to a few OWC demonstrations). People get to waive their banners and then go home to a nice meal, feeling good about themselves, thinking they made a difference. In the meantime people sill suffer and war goes on.

When did feeling good and having a good meal become a bad thing. If they are happy raising peoples consciousness of the suffering, good for them. Teachers in schools will spend a whole year encouraging children into a life long enjoyment of their subject. If succeed with only one or two, it was a good day and worthy of a good meal.

Chem trails ... You tube..

The trails I saw at you tube, while bigger than vapor trails, were still very puny compared to theRead More banner cloud formations I saw this, banners stretching straight from East to West (or vice versa) from one horizon to the other. May guess is that they were over 500 feet wide, and I'm still inclined to think the straight-line winds that made the derecho in the East pushed backwards a straight banner of visible water vapor (ie, clouds). Compare the physics to the x-rays that are pushed backwards when matter is sucked into the spiral of a black hole, a new discovery this week.

Thanks, Jim. I appreciate it. Hi Julio, As we all know, Even the late movie guru, Roger Ebert'sRead More fans, sometimes, did not agree with his assessment.
