President Obama Returning to Bay Area in July; Fundraiser Luncheon at Los Altos Hills Home
An invitation to the event lists ticket prices starting at $10,000 for lunch and a photo. VIP package is $32,400.
President Barack Obama will be coming to the Bay Area next month for a Democratic Party fundraiser with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and other elected leaders.
The reception and luncheon to benefit the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, or DCCC, will be held on July 23 at the Los Altos Hills home of Judy and George Marcus.
George Marcus is the founder of real estate brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap.
The Marcuses met while studying at San Francisco State University in the 1960s, according to SFSU officials. He graduated with a degree in economics.
Other attendees expected to join the president are Pelosi, Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, D-Palo Alto, and DCCC chairman Steve Israel.

A $32,400 ticket includes entrance to a VIP reception, lunch and a photo. The presidential reception is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.
Obama was previously in Silicon Valley just last month.
He attended fundraisers and spoke at a Mountain View Walmart about solar energy and jobs on May 9.
