Protesters Line Ygnacio Valley Road

Occupy Walnut Creek shifts its site to catch more afternoon commuters near BART station.

For the third Wednesday in a row, Occupy Walnut Creek took its message against the unholy alliance of wealth and power to the streets of Walnut Creek.

This Wednesday, the site shifted to Ygnacio Valley Road to catch commuters in cars and coming from the Walnut Creek BART station.

This photo shows the back of the head of Jesse Mackinnon of Walnut Creek, a history teacher with a history lesson on his protest sign, a quote from Thomas Jefferson from a letter to James Madison: "Another means of silently lessing the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progress as they rise."
