Rotary Announces Tuesday Morning Debates

Walnut Creek Sunrise Rotary Club will host congressional, state Senate and Assembly debates in October at Scott's Seafood Bar & Grill.

The Sunrise Rotary Club of Walnut Creek is planning a series of debates for congressional and state candidates in the area.

The debates are scheduled for a series of Tuesday mornings at The debates are open to the public. A buffet breakfast for $15 starts at 7:00 a.m., with the debates starting between 7:20 and 7:30 and ending at 8:30 a.m.


The election is Nov. 6. The debates will be moderated with no audience participation, the Sunrise Rotary Club announced. Participants are asked to bring a can of food for donation to food banks.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
