Second Saturday walk with the mayor starts at Shadelands and Via Monte at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Those Walnut Creekers who aren't lacing up their shopping shoes Saturday to enjoy the second day of Neiman Marcus may just be lacing up their walking shoes.
That's because it's the second Saturday of the month, the regular day for Walks with the Mayor. Bob Simmons will meet the group at Shadelands Drive and Via Monte at 10 a.m. and tour the Shadelands Business Park, a key location in the city's economic development plans, with a stroll through the Woodlands neighborhood.
