Check out these homes that are all about 100 years old and still quite livable

Halloween always conjures up images of an aging, rickety house with cobwebs and shuttered windows that all the kids in the neighborhood say is haunted.

So, we thought in our real estate stories this week we'd take a look at the oldest homes for sale in Central Contra Costa County.

These homes are certainly not haunted and are definitely comfortable for the living.

In Concord, there's this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 120 Norman Ave. that was built in 1918.

The 1,601-square-foot remodeled house is listed at $319,000.

In Lafayette, there's this five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home at 3848 Happy Valley Road that was built in 1903.

The 3,940-square-foot restored ranch home is listed at $2.5 million.

In Walnut Creek, there's this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 173 El Camino Corto that was built in 1916.

The 2,211-square-foot remodeled house is listed at $959,000.
