With that in mind, we thought on this week's real estate installment we'd look at the oldest home we could find for sale in Walnut Creek.

This one is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house at 1835 Weaver Lane. The two-story Queen Victorian farmhouse with an au pair cottage was built in 1880.
