Home Composting

On Saturday, June 30, CCCSWA and the Walnut Creek Library will present a free two-hour lecture on Composting.  The lecture will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Walnut Creek Library, located at 1644 N. Broadway in Walnut Creek. Join us in the 2nd floor Oak View Room to learn all about composting.

For less than ten minutes a week you can reduce your garbage and create healthy soil for your plants. It's quick, it's easy—it's home composting! Home composting takes little time, space and effort, and it's so rewarding. Come and learn about outdoor bin composting, mulching, worm composting (vermicompost) and grasscycling.

The talk is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required. Register here: http://tinyurl.com/cccswa-composting
