June 16, 2011 Homeopathy Every Day Study Group

Edi Pfieffer, CCH, will give an introductory presentation titled:
“Timeless Principles for Supporting Learning, Behavior and Health Through Optimal  Nutrition”. She will be discussing: dietary principles to guide parents during preconception and pregnancy, as well how to nourish rather than merely feed their children. How the foundational nutritional principles were discovered. As well as the dangers of modern processed foods, information about: water and fluoride, traditional fats and oils, milk, soy, vital nutrients, and healthy meal preparation.

Edi started her homeopathic studies while living in Wales in 1979, and continued them in England in the early ’80s. After returning to the East Bay, she began a long association with the Hahnemann Medical Clinic. She is a graduate of the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in Berkeley, and has been in practice in the East Bay since 1991. She has been designated a Certified Classical Homeopath by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, and is also a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths. In addition, she has earned the designation Master Clinician on the basis of her postgraduate studies in homeopathy. In addition to her private family practice, she teaches workshops on homeopathy and traditional food ways as a path to eating more healthfully. She has also worked in a refugee clinic where she helped people with post-traumatic stress. She is currently working on the biography of Dr. Florence Ward, a surgeon and homeopath from the turn of the past century. Edi is committed to raising the level of health of the planet, for the future, by practicing, teaching, and writing about homeopathy.
