Saint Mary's College 6th Annual Wine Festival

Saint Mary's College invites the public to support student scholarships while enjoying an afternoon of socializing, a silent auction and wine tasting from more than two dozen California wineries at the College's 6th Annual Summer Wine Festival.

This year's festival features a centennial celebration of Brother Timothy, a pioneering winemaker for the Christian Brothers Winery, with a retrospective display of memorabilia along with wine tastings of Br. Timothy Cabernet.

Attendees can enjoy an affordable afternoon of fun, delicious appetizers and an assortment of rich red wines and lively whites from regional wineries, including: Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Francis Coppola, Concannon Vineyards and the Kennedy Family Vineyards.

When: Sunday, August 15, 2010, 2 to 5 p.m.

Where: Saint Mary's College of California,  Soda Activity Center
              1928 St. Mary's Road, Moraga, Calif. 94556

Cost: $35 per person until July 30 ($45 thereafter). Designated Driver rate is $15.  Proceeds from ticket sales, wine orders and the silent auction will support the College's scholarship fund.
